Rejuvenating Facials

In general, facial extractions involve the clearing out of an individual pore. For example, if you have a blackhead, this means that the pore has become clogged with dirt. With an extraction, we remove the dirt manually or with a tool, if necessary. 

If this is your first facial, there’s a strong possibility you’ll need a handful of extractions to give you the clear, clean skin you can expect after a facial. We do offer facial peels as one of our facial offerings. However, if this is your first time with a facial, we suggest starting with a more basic facial and working your way up to a peel. 

A facial peel is more intense than your average facial. It involves “peeling” off your outer layer of skin to reveal a fresh layer of skin beneath. While a facial peel is not as relaxing as a facial and you will experience significant redness after your procedure, with time, a facial peel can be one of the most rejuvenating skincare treatments.

Lucky for you, there are very few risks associated with receiving a facial. If you have any allergies, it is important to let your facialist know so as not to irritate the skin. 

In addition, you might notice some tingling in your body as blood flow is directed to your face, as well as a reddish complexion immediately after your treatment. Beyond this, though, you should leave your appointment feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

The answer to this question will vary from client to client. Some clients find that booking in a facial when they notice their skin needs it works for them. For other clients, regularly receiving a facial every month is just a part of their skincare routine. Some clients even come to us bi-weekly, or even weekly. 

If your skin needs the extra TLC, we would recommend monthly or bi-weekly facials. If you’re more interested in relaxation, monthly or bi-monthly will work.
